Overview
Whilst as teachers we should be assessing ‘holistically’ using the National Curriculum Physical Education level descriptors, what really engages and motivates pupils’ is progression in specific sports/activities. The content of this resource kit is based around the structure and content of the National Curriculum Physical Education and sport/activity curriculum guides. This combination gives pupils simplified and specific level descriptors to assess not only their own but their peers progress.
High Quality Assessment for Learning is an important tool within the teaching of PE. Reflection, independent thinking and personal target setting are skills that will be developed through the resources in this package.

The CD-Rom contains a series of worksheets that compliment the posters. High quality AFL is a continual process so we have included resources that enable you to make up pupil booklets, evidencing their knowledge, understanding and progress over a school year.
